Philip Palmer BA (Hons)

With a BA (Law) Hons. obtained from what is now Manchester Metropolitan University, Philip qualified as a Solicitor in 1979. Since that time he has practised law within the Cheshire area. He joined Rigby & Company in Sandbach in 1991 and subsequently became a Partner and, for a time, he was Senior Partner.

With a background in litigation, Philip has practised in many areas of law, although he specialises in the administration of estates and elderly client work including Wills, Probate, Trusts, Tax and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Philip´s approach is very much one of care and consideration for his clients.

A member of the Law Society and the Law Society Probate Section, Philip is also an active member of Solicitors for the Elderly. He has a particular interest in educational matters and has for many years tutored and lectured.

When not practising in the Sandbach office of Dixon Rigby Keogh, in his spare time Philip enjoys walking and swimming.
